Well, the website is back on WordPress. I started this blog on WordPress in 2011, switching to Wix a few years back. But it really does feel at home here at WordPress. I’m glad to be back.

The last 4-6 years have been interesting. I completed graduate school and been working as a licensed sexologist focusing on building my professional foundations. We survived the pandemic! Yay. And within the chaos I’ve been reconnecting with my first passion and life’s purpose: writing.
I started this blog over 10 years ago, writing about spirituality and relationships. I did so as I was going through my own relationship and spirituality journey. I wrote about twin souls, soul mates, sex, sacred sex, and spiritual practice. In recent years, these topics have become more mainstream. This is good, I think, but I have also noticed that as usual, with these topics going mainstream there has been a rise in concerning information being propagated. Of course, this could be said of everything from politics to dieting information. With the rise of social media and easier access to the internet, information is being created and exchanged at a faster rate than ever before in human history. We add AI to the mix and we have a somewhat precarious situation going. Still, I think I want to drop my two cents into the ether and let what will be, be.
With what I have learned and continue to learn about mental health, healthy relationships, and spirituality, I feel ready to combine these things once again, this time with a deeper sense of clarity and purpose. My goal is to help others learn by way of sharing information to navigate their spiritual journey and their relationships with an emphasis on mental health while balancing science and spirituality. Naturally, I will also continue to learn as I progress in life and career, and as I learn from others through this medium.
And then there’s the creative side that I’m excited to lean into more. I don’t have a specific timeline, but you can expect a mix of poetry and short form fiction. Themes of which of course align with everything else here: spirituality, love, romance, and mental health.
Overall, it’s been interesting rereading old posts. With new knowledge I can’t deny that there are things that I now view differently. The urge to revise is intense, as any writer would know, but we cannot erase where’ve been and if we could, then we’d be lost.
